50 ans de relations diplomatiques entre Israel et l'Allemagne. 50 years of diplomatic relations between Germany and Israel.

 Thanks Igor for this attractive German letter franked with a 0.80€ stamp (date of issue May 7, 2015) commemorating the 50th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Israel and Germany. At first, of course, Israel refused to establish relations with Germany due to the Hitler regime's genocide of 6 millions Jews during the Holocaust. However, diplomatic relations were officially established in 1965, hence this stamp.

 Merci Igor pour cette intéressante lettre affranchie d'un timbre à 0,80€ émis le 7 Mai 2015 par la poste allemande pour commémorer les 50 ans des relations diplomatiques entre Israel et l'Allemagne. Au début, bien sûr, Israel refusa d'établir des relations avec l'Allemagne suite au génocide de 6 millions de juifs par le régime hitlérien. Toutefois, en 1965, les relations diplomatiques entre les deux nations furent établies en 1965.

 Notez l'oblitération spéciale célébrant les championnats européens de philatélie thématique qui se tinrent du 7 au 9 Mai à Essen, une des grandes villes de la Ruhr.
