 Le 23 juillet 2016, la poste lettone (Latvijas Pasts) a émis un timbre consacré au vélo, et plus précisément au fabricant de bicyclettes Gustavs Erenpreis (1891-1956). Son entreprise, G. Erenpreis velocipede fabrika, fut active de 1927 à 1942, avant d'être nationalisée par l'Union Soviétique. La fabrication de vélos cessa en 1963, mais en 2012, la marque existe de nouveau sous l'impulsion d'un lointain neveu de son fondateur.

  Gustavs Ērenpreis Bicycle Factory was a manufacturer of bicycles and bicycle parts in Riga, Latvia. The factory was founded in 1927 and continued in private operation until 1942. Prior to World War II it grew to become the largest and most important bicycle factory in Baltic states. After the war, the factory was nationalized by the Soviet Union and became the largest bicycle factory in the Latvian SSR as the Red Star Riga Bicycle Factory. On July 23, 2016, Latvia Post has issued a 0.50€ stamp paying tribute to this bicycle brand.
