 Le Vatican est le siège du monde catholique et de la papauté. Il s'agit d'une monarchie absolue, dirigée par le Pape. Actuellement, le pape est François, le 266ème pape. Né en 1936, il est argentin, et donc le premier souverain pontife issu du continent américain.
