L'organisation PostEurop a choisi pour les timbres EUROPA un thème commun pour 2012 : "Visitez…". Sur ce thème du tourisme, la Croatie a émis 2 timbres à 7,10 kunas de facture classique, mais néanmoins très jolis.
To illustrate the theme "Visit..." chosen by the postal organization PostEurop for the EUROPA stamp series issued in 2012, the Croatian Post has chosen a rather classic way with two stamps respectively evoking the rich natural and cultural heritage of Croatia.
Le timbre de format vertical représente une superbe statue de bronze de l'Apoxyomène de Losinj datant du 2ème ou 1er siècle avant JC, conservée au musée archéologique de Zagreb. Elle nous montre un jeune athlète nu.
The vertical-shaped stamp (from a photograph by Goran Saletto) features the bronze statue of the Losinj's Apoxyomenos, dating from the 2nd or 1st century BC, kept in the Archaeological Museum in Zagreb.
Le second timbre montre une vue du parc national de Paklenica situé dans le massif du Velebit qui est très connu par les alpinistes du monde entier.
