Champaran Satyagraha centenary. Les cent ans du mouvement Chamran Satyagra.

 Voici une très jolie série de 3 timbres indiens émise le 13 avril 2017 pour commémorer le centenaire du Champaran Satyagraha, un mouvement pacifiste inspiré par Gandhi. Merci Anandita.

 Thanks Anandita for this 2017 Indian set of 3 stamps celebrating the centenary of the Champaran Satyagraha, the first Satyagraha movement inspired by Gandhi and a major revolt in the Indian Independence Movement. It was a farmer's uprising that took place in Champaran district of Bihar, India during the British colonial period. The farmers were protesting their having to forcibly grow opium with barely any payment for it.
