The "Fête du Timbre 2014" was held in 100 cities throughout France on 11 and 12 September. The theme was dance with a 0.66€ stamp depicting a couple of salsa dancers and a 2.45€ souvenir sheet dedicated to street dance (hip-hop). Both can be seen on this cover coming from Lyon. Thanks Eric! With its suburbs and satellite towns, Lyon forms the 2nd-largest metropolitan area in France with more than 2 million inhabitants.
La Fête de Timbre 2014 s'est tenu dans 100 villes cette année les 11 et 12 Septembre. Seul un timbre et un bloc-feuillet ont été émis avec pour thème la danse (comme pour les trois années qui suivront). Merci Eric pour cette lettre affranchie de ces deux émissions.
