Thank you very much Ouari for this new letter. It shows us two algerian stamps issued in 2010, part of a set of three, devoted to the birds of prey. The lanner falcon (Falco biarmicus) is depicted on the 20 dinars stamp and the peregrin falcon (Falco peregrinus) is shown on the other stamp with a nominal value of 30 dinars.
Merci beaucoup Ouari pour cette superbe lettre qui nous montre deux espèces de faucons : le faucon lanier (Falco biarmicus) qui vit essentiellement en Afrique et le faucon pélerin (Falco peregrinus) que l'on retrouve sur les cinq continents. C'est l'animal le plus rapide au monde quand il fond sur sa proie.
