Thanks Juris for this FDC cover with a stamp (date of issue May 11, 2012, printing run 500.000) showing us Ventspils, a ice-free port in northwestern Latvia, in the Courland historical region. Venspils has a population of 42.000 inhabitants.
To complete his sending, Juris has added a 0.15 lats stamp from the definitive series showing us the coat of arms of Latvian cities. Daugavpils is a 100,000 inhabitants city in southeasthern Latvia.
