Thanks Yuri for this cover with two stamps from a set of 4 issued in 2009 depicting russian nuclear icebreakers.
The soviet icebreaker Lenin is shown on the 7 rubles stamp on the left. This boat is the world's first nuclear powered surface ship. The right stamp illustrates the icebreaker Taymyr, built in 1989 in Finland. To note that Taymyr is the name of a peninsula in Siberia.
The fortress of Novgorod (Novgorod kremlin) is depicted on the 5 rubles selfadhesive stamp.
At last, Yuri has joined a nice postcard of Smolny Convent in Saint Petersburg, from now on used as a concert hall.
