Thanks to the Royal Mail for issuing these stamps (22 March 2011) and thanks to Derek for sending me this FDC cover (22 March 2011 of course!), I can show you today a wonderful philatelic item depicting the face of some endangered animal species. Part of a set of ten, you can admire the Siberian tiger (Panthera tigris altaica), the polar bear (Ursus maritimus), the Amur leopard (Panthera pardus orientalis) and the Iberian lynx (Lynx pardinus). These stamps mark the 50th anniversary of the foundation of the World Wildlife Found. To note the very special and amazing snake postmark.
